Celebrate the arrival of autumn with CONTE PAS MUSIC’s curated Visual Arts Exhibition and Artist Talks, featuring works from emerging and established local artists. This free, two-week event invites art lovers and community members to engage with contemporary visual arts in an intimate setting.
The exhibition showcases a wide range of media including painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media. Themes explored by the artists focus on community, identity, and the natural environment—reflecting the spirit and landscape of Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon.
Opening Reception:
The event opens with a reception on Friday, October 10, welcoming visitors to meet the artists, enjoy light refreshments, and experience live acoustic music performed by local musicians. This evening sets the tone for an immersive artistic journey and offers opportunities for lively conversation and networking.
Exhibition Schedule:
Visitors are welcome daily from 11 AM to 6 PM throughout the exhibition period. Guided tours will be offered every Saturday at 3 PM, providing insight into the artists’ creative processes, inspirations, and the stories behind their works.
Artist Talks:
Every Sunday at 4 PM, featured artists will host talks in our lecture space. These sessions delve deeper into the conceptual and technical aspects of their work and encourage audience questions and discussion. The talks provide a unique chance to explore contemporary artistic practices and reflect on art’s role in society.
Throughout the exhibition, visitors are invited to participate in an interactive art project that encourages collaboration and creativity. Participants contribute small artworks or messages inspired by the exhibition themes, helping to create a communal piece displayed in the gallery.
